<p><strong><span style="font-size: large;">MAYOR ROBERT O&#8217;NEILL</span></strong></p>
<p>Mayor Robert O&#8217;Neill has resided in Sharon Hill for 25 years with his wife Barbara and daughter Natalie.  Bob previously served on council for nine years and during that time held the positions of President and Vice President of Council as well as Chairman of the Recreation Board, Planning Committee and Zoning Board and other committees.  He has worked as an Auto Technician at Lee&#8217;s Auto Service in Collingdale for 20 years.  In his free time he enjoys fishing, boating, golfing, shooting darts and attendiing NASCAR races.  He is also an active member of All Saints Church and Men&#8217;s Club, where he serves as Past President, Vice President and Treasurer.</p>
<p>Four times a year, Mayor O&#8217;Neill holds an open forum for residents of Sharon Hill.  These forums are informal and are designed to give residents a chance to meet the mayor and discuss community affairs.  These forums are held within two weeks of the mailing of our Mayor&#8217;s Newsletter.  New residents are especially welcomed and encouraged to attend these forums.  In January, Mayor O&#8217;Neill will be mailing invitations to our new residents to formally invite you to his next forum. </p>

<p>Trash will be collected on <span style="color: #ff0000;">Tuesdays</span> and <span style="color: #ff0000;">Fridays</span> in the following areas:</p>
<p>Every street North of the Amtrak Railroad and West of Calcon Hook Road.</p>
<p>Reminder:  Do not put your trash out before 6pm the night before your trash day.</p>
<p>Trash/Garbage shall be placed in metal, plastic or like material, said cans not to exceed 20 gallons in capacity, or 50 lbs in weight.  Tree trimmings, hedge clippings and other such items shall be cut and placed in tied bundles, which shall not exceed two (2) feet in thickness or four (4) feet in length.</p>
<p>BULK TRASH &#8211; will be collected on Thursdays &amp; Fridays of every week.  Building materials and automobile parts will not be collected.</p>

<p>This program was created to assist citizens in their &#8220;golden hour&#8221; of emergency care following a traffic accident when they may not be able to communicate their needs themselves. </p>
<p>By placing a yellow dot in your vehicle&#8217;s rear window, this will alert the first responders to check your glove compartment for vital information to ensure you receive the medical attention you need.</p>
<p>Interested individuals can get a yelow dot packet by visiting <a href="http://www.yellowdot.pa.gov/">www.YellowDot.pa.gov</a> and completing the request form.</p>
<p>Once you receive your packet, place the completed information sheet, with an attached picture, into the Yellow Dot folder, and then place the folder into the vehicle&#8217;s glove box.</p>

<p class="MsoTitle" style="margin: 0in 0in 0pt;">The Sharon Hill <strong>Planning Commission</strong> meetings are scheduled for the last Tuesday of every month at 7:30 P.M. on the second floor of the Borough Hall, 250 Sharon Avenue. </p>
<p>The Sharon Hill <strong>Zoning Hearing Board</strong> will meet at 7:00 P.M. the first Tuesday of the month if a request for a special exception and/or variance has been received.  Said request will be duly advertised prior to the meeting. </p>
<p>The Sharon Hill <strong>Recreation Board</strong> meetings are scheduled for the first Tuesday of each month, in at 8:00 P.M. in the Borough Hall, 250 Sharon Avenue. </p>
<p>The Sharon Hill <strong>Library Board</strong> meetings are scheduled for the third Tuesday of January, March, May September and November at 7:00 P.M. in the Borough Hall, 250 Sharon Avenue. </p>
<p>The Sharon Hill <strong>Historical Commission</strong> meetings are scheduled for March and October, dates and times to be announced. </p>
<p>The Sharon Hill <strong>Shade Tree Commission</strong> meetings are scheduled quarterly on the third Wednesday of March, June, September and December at 7:00 P.M. in the Borough Hall, 250 Sharon Avenue.</p>
