Free program helps to improve stormwater management
Sharon Hill residents are eligible for a FREE Stream Smart Stormwater House Call, to assist homeowners in assessing their properties for ways to better manage stormwater. These management practices can help improve water quality and reduce downstream flooding. Residents can visit streamsmarthousecalls.org for additional information and to apply for an assessment.
StreamSmart can help you explore rain gardens and other natural solutions to polluted runoff.
The program is offered through the cooperation of the Pennsylvania Resources Council (PRC), the Darby Creek Valley Association (DCVA), the Eastern Delaware County Stormwater Collaborative (EDCSC), the Lower Merrion Conservancy (LMC) and funding provided by the National Fish and Wildlife Foundation (NFWF).
