Did you know that broken tree limbs, fallen trees and other vegetation cause nearly one-third of all power
outages?

PECO’s Vegetation Management department has scheduled tree pruning in parts of Sharon Hill later this summer to prevent electric service issues. Work will begin in July/August and is expected to be completed in September.

PECO’s tree service contractor is specially trained for utility work and will prune to promote tree growth away from power lines and equipment. Work will take place in the areas highlighted on the map below. A letter will also be sent to individuals living where work will take place.
