Sharon Hill Borough residents and visitors are advised to use caution when traveling and venturing outdoors during winter weather conditions. Periods of snow, freezing rain, and fluctuating temperatures can lead to the formation and refreezing of ice, creating hazardous conditions on roadways, sidewalks, and parking areas.
The Highway Department actively monitors winter weather and conducts salting and treatment operations as conditions warrant. When temperatures remain near or below freezing, ice mitigation can be an ongoing effort. Property owners are reminded to salt sidewalks, walkways, and entrances and to remove snow and ice as soon as conditions allow. Prompt attention to these areas is critical to helping prevent slips, falls, and unintended injuries.
We appreciate the community’s cooperation and patience as winter weather conditions continue throughout the season.
