NOTICE is hereby given that at the regular meeting of Sharon Hill Borough Council to be held on February 15, 2024 at 7 pm at the Sharon Hill Borough Hall at 250 Sharon Avenue, Sharon Hill, Pa 19079 . The Borough Council and if appropriate, will enact two ordinances, the title and summary of which appears below:
–––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––AN ORDINANCE OF THE BOROUGH OF SHARON HILL DELAWARE COUNTY PENNSYLVANIA, AMENDING ORDINANCE 200-4 RENTAL DWELLING LICENSE;USE AND OCCUPANCY PERMITS TO INCLUDE SHORT-TERM RENTAL PROPERTIES AND AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 370 ZONING ARTICLE 14 ZONING HEARING BOARD,SECTION 1401(2) MEMBERSHIP OF BOARD;AMENDING THE ZONING HEARING BOARD FROM FIVE TO THREE MEMBERS PROVIDING A SEVERABILITY CLAUSE; A REPEALER; AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
Sharon Hill Borough is permitted, pursuant to the Borough Code, and the Municipalities Planning Code, to enact, revise, repeal and amend ordinances, as it deems beneficial to the Borough. The Ordinances would amend the Zoning Code in order to regulate and permit short term rentals in the Borough and the to decrease the number of zoning board members from five to three.
