As of late October 2024, the Delaware County Planning Department has indicated that the Army Corps of Engineers (ACOE) is currently looking into mitigation sites for this stormwater issue in our area. Due the adverse impacts that the levee would have on Delaware County and specifically Sharon Hill Borough, the ACOE is researching other alternatives.
Previously, there were a series of meetings held to which Sharon Hill Borough elected officials, engineer, and solicitor attended to assure that the adverse impact to our community remained at the forefront of the discussions.
