The Sharon Hill Public Library is excited to announce an opportunity for dedicated individuals to join our Board of Trustees. We are seeking passionate community members who are interested in making a significant impact on our library and the community it serves. This is a unique chance to contribute to the growth and development of one of our community’s most valued institutions.
Role and Responsibilities:
– Attend one meeting per month, held on the 3rd Tuesday of each month, in person at 246 Sharon Ave, Sharon Hill, PA 19079.
– Participate in decision-making processes that shape the library’s services, programs, and overall direction.
– Collaborate with fellow trustees, the library director, and the Friends of the Library group to enhance library services and resources.
– Undertake other duties pertinent to the role of a library trustee, including financial oversight, policy development, and community advocacy.

– Influence the strategic direction of the Sharon Hill Public Library.
– Advocate for the library within the broader community and build stronger connections.
